Meet Scovy Awuor

Scovy is a 14 years old girl, who lives in Homabay County in Kenya. She is a partial orphan and the first born of 4 siblings. Her mother passed away 2018 after being ill. Her father does the fishing to feed his family. She has to do the house chores being the eldest. She washes clothes, dishes, cooks, fetches
firewood and carries water. After running all these errands, Scovy gets tired making her not to study properly.It is a blessing to be at Shalom Christian Center, where she gets time to study, get food, clothing, emotional support, read books, play ball games, spend time with her friends and study the Bible.
