Melvin is a 13year old girl who lives in Homa-Bay County in Kenya. Melvin is a Total Orphan and the fifth born of six. Her father died in 2018 of HIV/AIDS. The mother does Agriculture to support the family. The family faces challenges from basic academic requirement to school fees. Being at Shalom Christian Centre gives her the opportunity to study and realize her dream of becoming a Nurse to support herself and the family.
