Meet David Okoth

David is 12 years old who lives in Homa-Bay County in Kenya. He’s a partial orphan and is the fourth born of seven. His father died in 2022 in a car accident. Life at home has never been the same since the demise of their father. His mother sells vegetables to feed the family. David has to help with the house cores, herding cattle, farming and fetching firewood. He gets worked out making him not to have time to study. At Shalom Christian Centre he gets adequate time to study, get food, clothing and emotional support and feels determined to realize his dream of becoming an Electrical Engineer.
